Reiki is a healing, balanced, harmonizing energy with its own innate intelligence. This hands-on healing energy work helps bring balance to every organ, gland, chakra and meridian through releasing energy blocks. Ultimately, it leads us back to our own natural state of peace and well- being, provides us more space and time to meditate and pray, and access to our own inner guidance.

Dr Weng in New York City

Dr. Mei Jen Weng is a licensed acupuncturist, oriental medicine
doctor and Ph.D. She has treated people on Amma's tours throughout Europe, Australia, Japan, and the United States. She is a graduate of Chung Shan Medical College in Taiwan and Yuin University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Weng is not only a highly skilled master, she is a powerful intuitive and energetic
healer. Patients who have received treatment say she is particularly gifted in
facilitaing the rapid release of buried emotional blocks and past traumas which made them depressed, sad, or chronically ill. Dr. Weng treats both men and women. Her vision is to "free people". She particularly supports the liberation of women and the Divine Feminine so that people can express greater joy, energy, peace, health and creativity in their lives and world service.

On Fridays we will open morning meditation with an Agni Hotra fire ceremony, in the tradition of Ananda Ashram. The fire ceremony consists of five minutes of Sanskrit prayers while ghee is offered into a contained flame. The flame can be meditated upon to clarify one's focus and bring one into the moment. The Agni Hotra is a daily ritual for world peace and has powerful healing effects, including anti-pollution environmentally and mentally. With the air charged we will move into silent meditation
