Patrick Weder making his Debut at the Achitectural Digest Show

The AD Show was an amazing success! People where shockingly stunned by the new designs of Patrick Weder!!I have to say so was I...I spent 4 lovely days with some of the top designers/artists and enough inspiration to last for many years to come.
Thanks to all my new friends I really look forward to working next year's show!

Patrick's work turned many heads and the buzz is out a new kid has stepped up to plate.Although this was Weder's first major trade show,high- end clients have been secretly collecting his work for years. He is new to the public but not new to the art of making flawless one of a kind furniture. Look for his work in June at the Socrates
Sculpture Park's " Maker's Market"

Super big Thanks to Evrick Brown,Interior Designer extraordinaire and Patrick's Number one Fan...His friendship, generosity, talents and support was key to our 1st show success!!
thank you!!!

P.S I will be in California again this year so all you LA people book an appointment with me ...
I will be working out of a place in Echo Park ...so exciting ...In Junexoxox

Thinking about staying in the moment...

Reiki Principles
Just for Today, I will not Worry
Just for Today, I will not Anger
Just for Today, I will earn my living Honestly
Just for Today, I will show Gratitude to every living thing
Just for Today, I will Honor my Parents,Teachers and Elders

Its been a long time since I just sat down and wrote what's on my mind. Really time has been flying by and the days although sweetly interesting have also been challenging. I love when Pema Chodron talks about loving life both sweet and sour. This line really gives you something real to work with . The big message is to not become attached to either. Life is both and welcome it all and be in the moment. I wish it was so easy. That is why we have Reiki, acupuncture,Cranio Sacral,Massage ,Zero Balancing and all other Body-energy-work

I know I have the awesome ability to slip out of balance and hold on to the questions and emotions. The ride is always different depending on the planets, stars and my husband...
The things that gets me out of the spiral are: Counting the breath (ie flight or flight ),listen to Amma chanting or other music, open a book read/write,think of all that I'm thankful for and basically remind myself not to stay to long. Its hard!! sometimes I want to swim far out in these murky waters I have traveled so often its somehow comforting. I'm sure some of you can relate but the staying to long is the part that gets us into trouble. Touch it lightly,Pema would say...the staying is with the breath ...in the moment

I want to dedicate this post to Pema Chodron who always makes me laugh, cry and feel great in who I am in this moment.

In this moment do not worry
In this moment be kind to yourself
In this moment love yourself fully
I love you xoxoxo

New Organic Clothing Blooms in NYC!
You don't want to miss this trunk show...

For designer Lizzy Seklir true luxury is very much in keeping with sustainable values. She set out to design a collection made from organic and sustainable fibers that would also be fluid and wearable – clothes that would be viable in any situation and whose reliance on and modification of classic lines would give them an extended lifespan. Her aim is to design pieces that move through different environments and transform through time, muting the distinctions between clothes for work and clothes for play, daytime and evening. “Sustainability is not just about the materials,” she points out. “It’s answering the question of just how versatile and timeless each piece can be. I wanted to consider not only the process used to create the clothes, but also the ability of the garments to sustain integrity for many years. The idea of disposable fashion is not just detrimental because of how the materials are produced, but because it feeds the belief that clothes are meant to last for no more than a season. The items I design are meant to have both a low-impact upon creation and a long-impact on the life of their owner.”

Accessing the inner wisdom available when we tap into universal knowledge can dramatically transform our lives. In this class we will focus on techniques used to awaken clairaudient (hearing) and clairvoyant (seeing) abilities and tactile methods to develop a dialogue with universal intelligence. We will learn a variety of techniques to overcome the defense mechanisms and misperceptions that impede intuition, to develop heightened awareness through our senses, to recognize energy patterns, to activate our intuition through meditation, and much more. Intuition is a human birthright too often lost in modern society: come reclaim this vital living skill to live a far more effective life and be of greater service to others.

Free Intro: T'ia Chi

Febuary 11,2010 6 pm

@ New York Open Center

Kenneth Van Sickle

T’ai Chi is fundamentally a martial art, but its most noble purpose is the achievement of health and vitality, as well as the physical, social and philosophical evolution of the practitioner. Its proper practice relaxes the body, reduces stress, and increases energy. Through repetition of a carefully designed sequence of movements we slowly get rid of energy blocks in the muscular, respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems, thereby revitalizing our glands and organs, boosting our immune system and achieving a deep sense of centeredness and well-being. Kenneth teaches in the spirit and with the methods of his teacher, the legendary master Cheng Man-ch’ing, following the essence of the “Tao” and the “T’ai Chi Classics.”

Note: This class can be of benefit to students at all levels, from the physically challenged to gifted athletes.
